No other serial has ever portrayed the stories with such intricate details and most important of all without tampering.Īgain I would say mohit raina was the heart and soul of this series. Every word he spoke as mahadev you cab hear the resonance of truth in it. It feels like Mahadev blessed him himself. The lead character Mohit Raina could not have done the role better. Every story, the connections of ages beautifully interwoven and shown. This isn't a story or mythology it is our beautiful history. I never write reviews but I have to write this one. Nothing ever had made me feel this hollow after bringing a ray of hope this long. I just couldn't take the fact that it got over. During these dire times, these 820 episodes have been a ray of positive energy and an uplifting feel when I was down. The make up is wonderful at times and that glaring lipsticks on Parvati or anyone else is slightly irritating. I bow to the music directors, The Bawra Brothers for their existence. 'Shankar Shiv Bhole.', 'Vishweshwaraaya.', 'Namaisha.', 'Teenon Lokon ke swami.', 'Saat pheron ki ghadi.', 'Adbhut Anupam.', 'Shantakaram.' are some truly beautiful songs that will take you to a trance. So many beautiful songs where probably 'Karpuragauram.' makes Shiva's presence beside you more preciser. Every time he speaks I would do 'nazar na lage' on him, over my screen. Alpesh who plays Ganesha has a soothing voice. It is slightly irritating that some actors had to be replaced for one reason or the other be it Parvati, Saraswati, Indra and many more. The actors, most of them, are apt in their roles, of course more importantly Mohit as 'Shiva' and Saurabh as 'Vishnu'. Everything that happens, everything that happened and that will happen, happens only so that we learn from it. The story needs to be patiently heard for nothing happens without reason.

The show has some brilliant dialogues that one needs to have as a short series in one's phone because listening to them (and in Mohit's voice) might help us in dealing our hectic/ sad/ down/ lonely lives, our problems, our actions & reactions, shaping ours & our next generations' characters. It brought some good sleep over a few nights too. Watching this serial made me feel light, calm and, in trance. No, it wasn't the dialogue but it was a feeling of emptiness that I feared was gaining on me as this show was getting over. The last few seconds of the final episode made me cry a lot. This one, I started re-watching it since the beginning of the first lock down in 2020 and finished it on 15th September, 2020. Before that it was B.R.Chopra's Mahabharata serial & Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan and Krishna.
